Christopher Rivers

Christopher Rivers currently serves as the Vice President of Information Technology/Information Systems at CEL Group of Companies, overseeing global IT and IS strategy and systems. With extensive experience in technology management, Rivers previously held the position of Technology Manager for Security Operations at SkipTheDishes, where responsibilities included leading security operations for a global e-commerce platform. Additional roles include Director of Information Technology at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, Infrastructure Specialist at EDS, and Senior Systems Engineer at Weyerhaeuser, among others. Rivers began a career in management information systems and education, contributing to the field as both a co-op student and a contract instructor at the University of Manitoba, while also working as a service technician. Educational foundations include study at the University of Manitoba and Carleton University.
