Daniel Saavedra began their professional career in 2010 as a Host at Applebee's. In 2013, they joined the Center for Undergraduate Research in Mathematics (CURM) as a Student Research Assistant, where they were paid to research and collaborate with other students to discover new ideas and theories related to discrete mathematics, formulate and solve abstract mathematics problems, and write a research paper for publication. In 2016, they became a Student Researcher at Research Experiences for Undergraduates: Accessible Multimodal Interfaces, where they conducted research in identifying hearing people's preference for closed captioning, interpreted and analyzed the quantitative and qualitative results, and designed and conducted questionnaire surveys using PHP. In 2017, they joined Convo Communications as an Information Technology Administrator, Information Technology Support Specialist, and Tier 2 Tech Support.

Daniel Saavedra began their educational journey in 2011 when they attended Lincoln Land Community College. Daniel then transferred to Rochester Institute of Technology, where they completed an Associate's degree in Applied Computer Technology in 2014. Afterward, they continued their studies at Rochester Institute of Technology and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology in 2016. In 2015, they took classes at Rock Valley College.
