Todd Wright

Todd Wright has extensive work experience in various leadership and board positions. Todd is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Convo Communications Australia, a role they started in February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Business Development at Convo Communications from April 2021 to February 2023.

In addition to their roles at Convo Communications, Todd has also held positions at the World Federation of the Deaf Regional Secretariat Oceania as a Board Member since July 2015. This voluntary board position involved advocating for the rights of deaf people in the Oceania region.

Before joining Convo Communications and the World Federation of the Deaf, Todd worked at IBM in various roles. Todd served as a Committee Member of Diversability, an employee-driven Business Resource Group representing employees and people with disabilities. Todd also held positions such as Service Integration Lead, Service Line Owner delegate, Co-Chair of Diversability, Manager, Business Operations Manager, Systems Administrator Team Leader, and Unix System Administrator during their tenure at IBM from 2002 to 2021.

In addition to their roles in the private sector, Todd has also contributed to the Deaf community in Australia. Todd served as the Chairperson of Deaf Australia Inc from November 2013 to September 2020, and as a Board Director from November 2010 to November 2013. Todd was also involved with the Deaf Society of NSW as a Board Director, Chairperson, and Vice Chairperson from 2010 to 2017.

Overall, Todd's work experience showcases their leadership skills and dedication to advocating for the rights and inclusion of people with disabilities.

Todd Wright completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Computer Engineering from UNSW from 1998 to 2001. In 2011, they pursued a Diploma in Frontline Management from IBM RTO. Additionally, Todd obtained several certifications, including ITIL V3 Foundations from EXIN South Pacific in 2008, Certified Sun Solaris System Administrator in Solaris 8 System Administration from Sun Microsystems in 2005, and Apply First Aid from St John Ambulance Australia (NSW) in May 2012.
