Alex Baker

Alex Baker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy and finance, currently serving as Managing Partner at Relay Ventures since March 2008, where oversight of investments in mobile platform and connected device companies is a primary focus. In addition to this role, Alex holds multiple positions as a board member across various companies, including Cookin Inc., Greenlight Financial Technology, Inc., 7shifts, Blue J Legal, Woveo, and Influitive, as well as serving as a board observer for TouchBistro. Alex is also a Kauffman Fellow through the Kauffman Fellows program since July 2009. Educational qualifications include a Kauffman Fellowship from the Centre for Venture Education and a degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
