Axel McFarlane

Axel McFarlane is a Senior Product Designer at CookUnity since April 2025, focusing on enhancing user experiences for the CU Growth team. Previously, Axel served as a Senior Product Designer at Care.com from October 2020 to March 2025, where responsibilities included redesigning user interfaces for caregivers and improving the representation of families on the platform. In addition to design roles, Axel has experience as an Adjunct Professor at SVA Design for Social Innovation, teaching Games for Impact, and has held instructional positions at New York University. Axel's design expertise spans various industries, including civic technology and e-commerce, with a strong foundation in information science and integrated digital media, holding degrees from Cornell University and NYU Tandon School of Engineering.
