Chef Vanessa Cantave

Chef Vanessa Cantave is the Executive Chef and Owner of Yum Yum Catering & Events, a position held since 2005, where they offer diverse catering services and culinary production. Vanessa also contributes regularly to A&E Networks, creating content for the “Homemade” series, and has collaborated with notable clients such as Nike and L’Oreal. As a first-generation Haitian-American, Vanessa is dedicated to supporting initiatives that benefit Haiti, including the “Gout et Saveur Lakay” festival. Vanessa graduated as valedictorian from the French Culinary Institute and holds a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in French from James Madison University. Currently, Vanessa serves as a Platform Chef at CookUnity.
