Founded by Vasili Borissov and inspired by his father, Dr. Anatoli Borissov, a leader in Rocket Science, Nuclear Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics.

Cool Edge Bits functions within the upstream oil and gas industry and has developed new technology, great improvement to the hydraulics of PDC drill bits to meet the demands of operators and drilling service companies to help their complex drilling operations to completion with better quality performance, much faster time and at a more affordable rate, providing efficiency and cost savings.

Our patented design channels mudflow and drilling fluids with a strategically placed and directed flow to the cutting edge (cutters), reducing heat, increasing cooling and bringing the temperature at the cutting surface down 50%, minimizing wear, and extending bit life.

Our tools improve performance, reduce downtime and overhead while drilling to TD smoother with faster rates of penetration outperforming competitors and creating a better quality well bore.
