Alan Hambelton

Alan Hambelton serves as the head of Cooley LLP’s Seattle corporate practice since October 2008, representing both public and private companies across various legal matters, including corporate securities, public offerings, private financings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and general counseling. Prior to this role, Alan practiced at Heller Ehrman as an attorney in the Venture Law Group from October 2007 to October 2008, and gained experience as a legal extern at the King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office in the summer of 2005. Alan holds a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law, obtained in 2007, and a BA in International Studies from the University of Washington, earned in 2003.
