C. Scott Talbot is a Senior Counsel in the Litigation department at Cooley LLP, specializing in the Patent Counseling & Prosecution practice group, and has been with the firm since June 1999 in the Reston office. Prior to Cooley, C. Scott held partner positions at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and Howrey LLP, and served as a partner and associate at Kenyon & Kenyon. Earlier career experience includes being an associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and law clerk at the University of Virginia’s Legal Advisor's Office. C. Scott began a career in engineering as a design engineer in the internal ballistics group at Aerojet Rocketdyne, following an education in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Virginia and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.
