Candace Britton

Candace Britton, Ph.D., currently serves as a Summer Associate at Cooley LLP since August 2023. Prior to this role, Candace held the position of Patent Agent at Scribe Therapeutics from April 2022 to August 2023 and at Morrison & Foerster LLP from March 2019 to September 2021, where Candace also worked as a Scientific Analyst. In addition, Candace gained experience as a Legal Intern at CZ Biohub in June 2018. The academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Environmental Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Currently pursuing a Juris Doctor at the University of California, Davis - School of Law from 2023 to 2026, Candace combines a strong scientific foundation with legal expertise in the field of intellectual property.
