Carol Laherty

Carol Laherty is a Partner at Cooley LLP, a position held since August 2011. Prior to this, Carol served as Principal at Seed IP Law Group from 2009 to August 2011 and was an Associate at Seed IP Law Group, PLLC from 2001 to 2008. Carol began a legal career as a Summer Associate at Venture Law Group in 2000. Before transitioning into law, Carol was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center from 1992 to 1997. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor from the University of Washington School of Law, earned between 1998 and 2001, and a Doctorate in Cellular & Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan Medical School, completed in 1992.
