Charley Haley

Charley Haley is a Partner in the Technology Transactions Group at Cooley LLP, where they advise both emerging and public companies on intellectual property exploitation and complex technology transactions. Prior to their current role, Charley served as General Counsel at a publicly traded technology company in Silicon Valley and held various legal positions, including Senior VP and General Counsel at Symyx Technologies, Inc. and Partner at Tomlinson Zisko LLP. Charley began their legal career as a Law Clerk for Hon. Claude M. Hilton in the U.S. District Courts and has extensive experience in corporate governance, M&A, and licensing transactions. Charley earned a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law and a BA in Near Eastern Studies from Princeton University.
