Dan Hutchins

Dan Hutchins is a Corporate Attorney at Cooley LLP since April 2019, specializing in corporate formation, venture capital, private equity financings, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and public company reporting. In addition, Dan serves as an Advisory Board Member for Cruz Foam. Previously, Dan held the position of Patent Attorney at Christensen O'Connor Johnson Kindness PLLC and Blakely Sokoloff Taylor & Zafman, focusing on patent applications and infringement opinions. Experience includes a judicial externship at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and a process engineering role at KitoTech Medical, Inc. Dan Hutchins obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) in Intellectual Property Law from Santa Clara University School of Law, complemented by two degrees in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Washington.
