Daniel Knauss

Daniel Knauss is an experienced IP Litigation Partner at Cooley LLP, serving since January 2010. Prior experience includes a Prosecution Intern role at the Santa Clara County Office of the District Attorney for a brief period in late 2008 and serving as the Director of Intellectual Property and Patent Agent at Third Wave Technologies from September 2004 to August 2006. Daniel Knauss holds a Juris Doctor with Distinction from Stanford Law School, earned between 2006 and 2009, a Ph.D. in Microbiology, Oncology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison obtained from 1999 to 2004, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Philosophy from Gonzaga University, completed in 1999.
