Darah Protas

Darah Protas is a Partner at Cooley LLP since July 2017, specializing in the representation of issuers and underwriters in various capital markets transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, and debt offerings. Additionally, Darah provides counsel to publicly traded companies on general corporate matters, including SEC reporting and corporate governance. Prior to this role, Darah was an Associate Attorney at Morrison & Foerster LLP from October 2014 to July 2017 and served as the Executive Managing Editor for the Hastings Law Journal during the spring of 2014. Earlier experience includes a Summer Associate position at Morrison & Foerster LLP in 2013. Darah Protas earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, magna cum laude, from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) in 2014 and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Journalism from Emory University in 2010.
