Erica Deane

Erica Deane is an accomplished professional in the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion, currently serving as the Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Cooley LLP since January 2019, after holding previous roles such as Associate Director and DEI Manager. Prior to Cooley, Erica worked at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP as a Global Diversity Specialist, contributing to the development of global diversity initiatives and planning programs with affinity groups. Erica's career in admissions at Columbia Law School spanned from August 2011 to November 2017, where responsibilities included outreach to underrepresented prospects and planning events for admitted students. Earlier experience includes roles as a Law Library Intern at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. Erica holds a B.A. from Amherst College and completed Coach Training at the Co-Active Training Institute in early 2023.
