Garth Osterman

Garth Osterman is a partner in Cooley LLP's Mergers & Acquisitions Group, where they specialize in M&A, divestitures, buyouts, and private equity. With nearly two decades of experience, Garth has represented a diverse array of public and private companies in strategic transactions, with a focus on cross-border dealings, particularly in Eastern Europe, South America, Central America, and Asia. Prior to joining Cooley in 2015, Garth held partner positions at Reed Smith LLP and DLA Piper US LLP, where they similarly specialized in cross-border transactions and represented technology and healthcare companies. Garth earned a JD from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1996.
