James Maton

James Maton serves as a Partner at Cooley LLP since January 2015, where responsibilities include Co-Partner in Charge of the London Office, UK Head of Disputes, Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), and membership on the Compensation Committee. Prior to this, James Maton held the position of Partner at Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP from 2008 to January 2015 and at Kendall Freeman from 2005 to 2008. James Maton began the legal career at DJ Freeman, starting as a Trainee Solicitor in September 1996 and progressing to Assistant Solicitor until 2005. James Maton completed a BA in Jurisprudence at the University of Oxford from 1991 to 1994.
