Jen Barnette

Jen Barnette is a Special Counsel at Cooley LLP since October 2014, with a concurrent role as a Lecturer of Law at the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, where a course on Social Enterprise and Impact Investing Law is taught. Prior experience includes serving as an Attorney Mentor for the Startup Law Initiative at Berkeley Law and a Legal Advisor for Echoing Green. Barnette has also held positions as a Law Clerk at the East Bay Community Law Center and Center for Resource Solutions, a Research Assistant at Clif Bar, and an Adjunct Professor of Global Studies at California State University San Marcos. Educational credentials include a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, an M.A. in Global and International Studies from UC Santa Barbara, and a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Miami.
