Katelyn Kimber

Katelyn Kimber currently serves as a Partner at Cooley LLP, where a primary focus includes the structuring, formation, maintenance, governance, and regulation of various private investment vehicles such as venture capital and private equity funds. Kimber began as a Summer Associate at Cooley LLP in 2013, drafting financing documents and gaining experience in corporate law. Previous roles include a Legal Extern at the Securities and Exchange Commission, where research and analysis were conducted on shareholder proposals, and internships at both the District Attorney’s Office and the Public Defender’s Office, engaging in case preparation and legal research. Katelyn Kimber obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Georgetown University Law Center and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, cum laude, from Fordham University.
