Lauren Creel

Lauren Creel is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in emerging companies and venture capital. Currently serving as a Partner at Cooley LLP since August 2014, Lauren has progressed from Associate to Partner within the same practice area. Prior to Cooley LLP, Lauren worked as an Associate in M&A, Venture Capital, and Capital Markets at Vinson & Elkins L.L.P. from October 2011 to June 2014. Earlier professional experience includes a role as Senior Analyst at Econ One Research and as a Research Associate at Nathan Associates. Lauren holds a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s degree in Economics from the same institution, in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
