Leah Duncan

Leah Duncan is currently an Associate at Cooley LLP, a position held since June 2021. Prior to this role, Leah served as an Associate Attorney at Winston & Strawn LLP for a brief period in early 2021 and completed a Legal Fellowship at the Chicago Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights. Leah has additional experience as a Summer Associate at Sidley Austin LLP and Winston & Strawn LLP, as well as serving as a Student Attorney at the University of Michigan Law School Entrepreneurship Clinic. Leah's foundational experiences include working as a Peer Advisor at the University of Michigan Newnan Academic Advising Center and a Research Assistant for Professor Sonja Starr, where research confirmed racial bias in hiring practices. Leah earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Michigan Law School and holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. Early legal exposure includes a Summer Internship at Seymore du Toit & Basson Attorneys in South Africa.
