Paralegal Specialist

Loraine Torres has extensive experience in the legal field, currently serving as a Paralegal Specialist at Cooley LLP since January 2015. Prior roles include Paralegal and Springs Office Manager at Bryan Cave from February 2007 to January 2015, and Senior Paralegal positions at Sparks Willson Borges Brandt & Johnson P.C. and Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison. Loraine co-founded Smart Growth Advocates, which received the 2007 CO Department of Public Health & Environment Sustainability Champion Award, co-presented by Governor Bill Ritter. Additional experience includes Board Member roles at The League of Women Voters of Pueblo and the Latino Chamber of Commerce of Pueblo, as well as work as an Investment Advisor/Stock Broker at Piper Jaffray/Smith Barney. Loraine holds a Bachelor of Science in Workforce Education Training & Development from Southern Illinois University, an Associate of Science in Legal Studies from San Diego Mira Mar College, and pursued further education at Concord Law School. Loraine is also licensed with NASAA Series 7, 66, and 65 certifications.
