Nicholaus Johnson

Nicholaus Johnson is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in corporate and securities law. Currently employed at Cooley LLP since April 2021, Nicholaus represents clients, providing outside corporate counsel to both public and private companies on matters including corporate governance, SEC issues, and financing. Prior to this role, Nicholaus worked at Downey Brand LLP from October 2017 to March 2021 as a transactional attorney, actively engaging in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and various stages of the corporate lifecycle. Nicholaus also gained valuable experience as a summer associate at Downey Brand LLP and through roles at the East Bay Community Law Center and the Superior Court of California. Nicholaus holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship/Business Law from the University of Southern California.
