Oliver Ware

Oliver Ware is an experienced legal professional specializing in patent law, currently serving as an Associate, Chartered & European Patent Attorney, and European Patent Litigator at Cooley LLP since July 2020. Prior to this role, Oliver worked as a Part-Qualified Patent Attorney and Trainee Patent Attorney at Marks & Clerk from September 2017 to June 2020. Oliver's professional background includes a CASE Student Placement at AstraZeneca in early 2017, where contributions were made to a process development team, and a role as Named Patient Agreement Officer at The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust in late 2013. Oliver has a strong academic foundation with a PhD in Organic Chemistry from UCL and an MSci in Chemistry, also from UCL, along with ongoing studies in Industrial Property – Patents at Politecnico di Milano.
