Vincent Sampson

Vincent Sampson serves as Special Counsel at Cooley LLP since March 2014, where leadership in the public policy practice supports the education, life science, and technology sectors, focusing on federal agency and congressional regulations. Previously, Vincent held the position of President at the Education Finance Council from December 2008 to March 2014, managing the Washington office and acting as the chief liaison to Congress and the Administration. Additional roles include Senior Vice President for Government Relations at the U.S. Department of Education and Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary, along with serving as Senior Counselor for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Resources, and Deputy Chief Counsel at the Association for Competitive Technology. Vincent's educational background includes degrees from UCLA, Santa Clara University School of Law, and an LL.M in Labor and Employment Law from Georgetown University Law Center.
