Mitchell Shipton

Mitchell Shipton has a varied work experience. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Desk Clerk at SIUE Facilities Management, where they managed and recorded a large database of room information for cleaning and maintenance purposes. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Emerson Climate Technologies, first as a Mobile Development Co-op Intern and then as a Software Engineer. During this time, they developed and maintained Android and iOS apps for the Sensi Wi-Fi thermostat, developed new features and fixed bugs found in production, and practiced pair programming, among other tasks. From 2017 to present, they have worked as a Software Engineer III at Coolfire Solutions.

Mitchell Shipton attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
