Mark Lainas

Mark Lainas is an accomplished marketing and innovation executive with extensive experience in the advertising and digital communications sectors. Currently serving as President of Coolr since September 2025, Lainas is driving the agency's expansion into the US market by leveraging cultural and creative insights. Previously, Lainas held the role of President at CANVAS United and Chief Innovation Officer at UNITED COLLECTIVE, where a focus on fostering meaningful brand experiences and adapting to the evolving consumer landscape was paramount. Additional leadership positions include Executive Vice President and Director of Innovation at BBDO New York, Chief Innovation Officer for various divisions at BBDO, and Managing Director at Ogilvy Group UK. Lainas began a professional journey with a BA in Marketing from the University of Southampton and gained foundational knowledge at Bradfield College.
