Fernando Salas obtained a degree in Medical Surgeon and Obstetric Gynecology from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico between 1980 and 1989, followed by specialization in Gynecologic Oncology at the Instituto Nacional de Cancerologia Mexico from 1991 to 1994.
