Daniel Hintermann

Daniel Hintermann is the current head of logistics at the Coop Group. Daniel has over 20 years of experience in the field of logistics and has worked for various companies in Switzerland.

Daniel started their career in 1997 as a management consultant at Abegglen Management Consultants AG. In 2001, they moved to Interdiscount AG, where they held various positions including Leiter Logistik, Informatik, Service, and microspot.ch. In 2011, they joined the Coop Group, where they have been head of logistics since.

Daniel has a wealth of experience in logistics and has played a key role in the development of various online shops in Switzerland. Daniel is a highly skilled and experienced professional who has helped the Coop Group to become one of the leading retail companies in Switzerland.

Daniel Hintermann has two main educational qualifications: a licentiate in political science from the University of Bern, and a certificate in logistics management from GS1. Daniel also has various other qualifications in marketing and controlling.

Daniel Hintermann reports to Philipp Wyss, CEO. They are on a team with Christian Coppey - Head of Real Estate Division, Daniel Stucker - Head of the Trading Division, and Andrea Kramer - Head of Marketing & Procurement.
