Jay Stearns

Jay Stearns is a seasoned supply chain executive with extensive experience in global supply chain management, supplier development, and commodity management. Currently serving as Vice President of Global Supply Chain at Cooper Standard since July 2019, Jay has led initiatives in AI integration, material portfolio management, and cash management solutions, among others. Prior roles at BorgWarner Inc. include Sr. Director of Global Supplier Development & Quality, where Jay significantly contributed to supplier technical development and quality integration. Jay's career began at GKN Sinter Metals as a Manufacturing Engineer, with an educational background that includes an MBA in Organizational Management from Syracuse University and a BS in Manufacturing Engineering from Kettering University.
