Ted Smith

Ted Smith is an experienced plant manager currently at Cooper Standard since September 2022. Prior to this role, Ted held various managerial positions at Toyota Boshoku America from February 2005 to September 2022, including General Manager and Sr. Manager of Purchasing. Ted began the career at Teleflex Automotive as a Quality Engineer from December 1999 to January 2005 and worked as an Automation Supervisor at Alcoa for a brief period during 1999. Earlier positions include Controls Engineer at Johnson Controls and Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force from 1992 to 1998. Ted holds a B.S. in Business Management Leadership and Ethics from Asbury University and a B.S. in Management from the Indiana Institute of Technology.
