Solveig Borthen has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Solveig started their career as a summer student at Statoil ASA in 2005 and 2006, working in procurement. In 2007, they participated in the Summer Project at Statkraft. From 2008 to 2011, Solveig worked as a Consultant and Senior Consultant at Capgemini Consulting. Solveig then joined Norwegian Air Shuttle in 2011 as a Route Manager responsible for various bases and played a key role in expanding the route network and developing strategies. In 2015, Solveig joined Coor as a Change Manager/Forretningsutvikler in the Strategy and Development department, where they managed projects and integrations. Recently, they have taken on the position of Head of Projects and Integrations at Coor.

Solveig Borthen has a Master's degree in Economics and Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) that they completed from 2003-2007. In 2006, they also obtained a CEMS (Master in International Management) degree from HEC Paris.
