Tom Herrera

Tom Herrera is an experienced aviation professional with a diverse background in piloting and flight instruction. Currently serving as Captain at Copa Airlines since May 2017, Tom has also held positions as First Officer at the same airline. Prior experience includes serving as Captain at CarmonAir Charter from October 2020 to September 2021 and as a Certified Flight Instructor at Academia Latinoamericana de Aviación Superior from May 2015 to May 2017 and IACA Flight School from September 2014 to April 2015. Tom's early career involved working as a Corporate Pilot at CarmonAir Charter from September 2011 to September 2014. Academically, Tom holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from ITAérea Aeronautical Business School, an FAA ATP type rating for the B737 from ALLIANCE AVIATION, and a Bachelor's degree in Finance & International Business from Universidad San Marcos.
