Sérgio Grade

Sérgio Grade is a seasoned Maintenance Manager currently overseeing mechanical maintenance and energy efficiency projects at COPAM, Companhia Portuguesa de Amidos, SA since 2014. Previously, they held roles such as Factory Deputy Manager at SN Transformados and Production Engineer at Bosch, where they focused on continuous improvement and LEAN tools implementation. Sérgio's engineering journey began with a Mechanical Engineering degree from Universidade de Coimbra, followed by specialized training in mechanical design and FEA at Linköping University. Early in their career, they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at SOLIEN and as a Process Engineer at CIE Plasfil, where they developed new machines and contributed to industrialization efforts.
