Adiel Avelar

Adiel Avelar was appointed Managing Director of Copart Brazil in 2011 and led the establishment of the company in the country. He is continuously growing Copart's business in the auction industry in the region. Prior to joining Copart, Avelar worked for Hertz as Senior Director in the U.S. He also worked for General Motors and Delphi Automotive for more than 10 years in several roles in various countries including Brazil, Argentina, France and United States. Born and raised in Sao Paulo - Brazil, Avelar received his Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia Industrial and earned his MBA from Thunderbird in Arizona
