Mark Binder

Mark Binder, CPCU, currently serves as Director of Government Affairs at Copart since August 2018. Previously, Mark held several positions at Farmers Insurance Exchange from March 1997 to July 2018, including National Salvage Manager, where strategy for the liquidation of company assets from claim settlements was developed and implemented. Mark also created and managed the Total Loss Salvage Department, supervised employees in the Salvage Center of Excellence as National Salvage Supervisor, and worked as a Field Claims Representative for auto claims. Additionally, Mark served as an Adjunct Instructor at Oklahoma City Community College from September 2004 to June 2006, teaching insurance-related courses. Mark earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northeastern State University between 1987 and 1991.
