Paul Kirkpatrick

Paul Kirkpatrick currently serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Secretary at Copart since December 2022. Prior to this role, Paul was the Chief Legal Officer at BayoTech Hydrogen from December 2021 to December 2022 and held the same title at Omnitracs, where Paul successfully completed the sale of the company to Solera Global Holding Corp in December 2021. Paul’s extensive legal experience also includes serving as Vice President-General Counsel and Secretary, as well as Vice President-Assistant General Counsel and Secretary at Commercial Metals Company from December 2009 to March 2020. Earlier in Paul’s career, a position as Senior Attorney was held at Haynes and Boone, LLP from August 2000 to December 2009. Paul Kirkpatrick earned a Bachelor's degree in History from Baylor University and a law degree from SMU Dedman School of Law.
