Trevor Schmidt

Trevor Schmidt is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in internal audit and financial control. Currently serving as the Global Financial Controller at Copart since October 2014, Trevor has also held the positions of Director of Internal Audit and Manager of Internal Audit within the same organization. Prior to this, Trevor worked at Ernst & Young from September 2005 to October 2014 as a Senior Manager, where responsibilities included guiding clients through the implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley 404, advising on IPO processes and SEC registration statements, and leading efforts to acquire new clients. Trevor holds a Master's degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at Arlington, earned between 2004 and 2005.
