David Mannino

David Mannino has a diverse work experience in the medical field. David has served as the Chief Medical Officer at COPD Foundation since May 2023, where they are also a Founding Board Member. David was appointed as the Medical Director at COPD Foundation from November 2020 to May 2023. Prior to that, David worked as a Professor at the University of Kentucky since July 2004. David also served as a US Medical Expert at GSK from August 2017 to September 2020. David's career began at the Centers for Disease Control, where they worked as a Medical Epidemiologist from July 1988 to May 2004. Before that, they were a Medical Officer at the US Dept of Justice Federal Bureau of Prisons from July 1984 to June 1988. David started their medical career as a Medical Resident at Lankenau Hospital from July 1981 to June 1984.

David Mannino completed their education in a chronological order. David attended Upper Darby High School from 1973 to 1976, earning their High School diploma. Following this, they enrolled at Penn State University from 1976 to 1979, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Science. Finally, they attended Thomas Jefferson University from 1977 to 1981, obtaining their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
