Christopher Schroeder is an accomplished engineering and business leader with extensive experience in the HVAC&R industry. Currently serving as the Director of Mechanical Systems at COPELAND since June 2023, Christopher leads teams focused on gas heating and refrigerant controls, overseeing new product development, factory liaison, agency testing, and R&D across multiple US and Mexico locations. Prior roles include Director of Mechanical Systems at Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions and Director of HVAC OEM Sales & Marketing, where Christopher managed product development for cooling controls and built key relationships with OEMs. With foundational experience from Modine Manufacturing Company and Amana Refrigeration, Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business.
