Patrick Majors

Patrick Majors is a seasoned professional in the field of mechanical engineering, currently serving as a Senior Polymer Engineer at COPELAND since July 2023. Prior to this role, Patrick held the position of Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Mount Vernon Nazarene University from July 2021 to July 2023 and worked as an Adjunct Professor in the MBA Program at Bluffton University in early 2021. Patrick's extensive experience at Cooper Tire & Rubber Company included roles as Senior Manager of Research and Predictive Technology, where leadership was demonstrated in a multi-functional research group, and Manager of Tire and Material Mechanics. Other past positions include significant engineering roles at Sulzer Carbomedics and Michelin America's Research and Development Corporation. Patrick holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
