Reza Khatami, PhD, PMP, is an accomplished engineering manager specializing in R&D within the HVAC and refrigeration sectors. Currently, Reza works at Copeland, leading innovative projects such as high temperature heat pump design and alternative refrigerant research. Previously, Reza held roles at Rheem Manufacturing and Carrier HVAC, focusing on refrigeration, heat transfer, and combustion technologies. Reza also contributed as a principal research scientist at UC Berkeley and served as a graduate research assistant at Northeastern University, where their doctoral studies centered on clean energy technologies.
