Tom Buescher currently serves as the Platform Leader for Aftermarket Electronic Controls at COPELAND, a role initiated in June 2023, focusing on HVAC/R electronic controls and innovative technologies. Prior to this, Tom held similar leadership positions at Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions, overseeing the development of aftermarket electronic controls and technology as both Platform Leader and Principal Engineer. Tom’s engineering career began at Emerson in 1990, encompassing roles such as Chief Engineer, leading teams on advanced development and appliance controls, as well as Project Engineer, where responsibilities included developing electronic gas ignition products. Tom earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
