Venugopal Kandi

Venugopal Kandi is a seasoned professional in product planning and marketing, currently serving as Director of Product Planning for Europe at Copeland since October 2020. In this role, Venugopal leads a diverse product portfolio that includes compressors, condensing units, controls, and electronics, focusing on new product developments, cost reductions, and complexity reduction while collaborating closely with global teams. Prior to Copeland, Venugopal held various positions at Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions, beginning as a Product Manager for refrigeration compressors and electronic controls, and progressing to Manager of Marketing Retail & Product Management. Previous experience includes a role as a Mechanical Engineer at Rittal and an internship and master thesis at Bosch. Academically, Venugopal holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University and an M.B.A. from Fachhochschule für Oekonomie und Management.
