David Hammes is currently the Chief Engineer for Automation Software in Process Controls at Coperion, a position held since 2024. Previously, David served as the Process Controls Chief Engineer at Schenck Process LLC from 2019 to 2024 and held the role of Senior Process Controls Project Engineer at Schenck Process Inc. from 1997 to 2019. David began their career as a Test Engineer intern at IBM in 1990 and gained experience as an ASIC Product & Test Engineer at Texas Instruments from 1991 to 1996. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Kansas State University in 1991.
