Markus Ecker is currently the Innovation Lead at CopilotKit, where they are developing the AG-UI protocol and CopilotKit OSS to facilitate the integration of AI copilots and agents into applications. They have been self-employed as a software developer since 2009, and prior to that, served as a Project Coordinator at UNODC from 2001 to 2009.
