Bill DeFries

Bill DeFries has led Copp Systems as the CEO/Owner since 2012. After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, DeFries began his career in sales and developed a broad and deep understanding of the security systems industry. Under his leadership, Copp Systems has expanded its capabilities to provide cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions, including the new Footprint Situational Awareness Software.

As a proud American veteran, DeFries is passionate about giving to the community and was inducted into the class of 2017 Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame in recognition for supporting the Dayton area community. A former Trustee of the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame Executive Committee, he currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the National VA History Center Foundation, American Veterans Heritage Center, and the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame Foundation.
