Chip Wood

Chip Wood currently serves as the Service Manager at Area Energy and Electric, Inc. since August 2024. Previously, Chip held the position of Project Manager and Service Manager at Copp Systems, a CertaSite company, from March 2023 to September 2024. Prior experience includes serving as the Systems and Services Manager at Koorsen Fire and Security from February 2021 to February 2023, and 28 years as the Security Engineer/Operations Manager at American Fire & Security. Chip was also the Chief of Operations at Marshal Protective Agency from 1993 to 2007. Chip holds a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Public Administration and Criminology from Miami University (1992-1997) and is currently pursuing further education at Koorsen University since May 2021.
