Currently serving as the Director of Copperleaf Services Portfolio and Practice Lead for Pipelines at Copperleaf, David specializes in energy exploration, production, processing, transportation, and utilities. Prior roles include Project Manager and Senior AIPM Consultant at Ovintiv, where David focused on operational challenges associated with natural gas and condensate production in Alberta and British Columbia. David’s background encompasses significant project management and engineering experience at Encana Corporation, where responsibilities included overseeing brownfield oil and gas facility construction, leading governmental relations for regulatory initiatives, and managing divestitures. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering with Distinction from The University of British Columbia and has contributed to industry savings and efficiencies as a registered lobbyist for the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers.
